Squamous cell carcinoma of larynx: A laryngectomy specimen with squamous cell carcinoma around the vocal cords. The tumor appears exophytic and in the midline, but deeply invaded into surrounding structures. The epiglottis is uninvolved. A toothpick is located at the base of the larynx. |
